This is the story of how my family and I had to flee from our homeland, Congo, during the war in 1996-97. It is about how we survived many obstacles, including war, soldiers, snakes; hunger and exhaustion through are belief in God. Through pray and dedication, we made it across dangerous waters to countries that at times, we not very inviting. This is a testament to how pray can get a person through many tough times. We face many physical, emotional and spiritual trials every day of our lives. Through the glory of God, we can be saved from the harsh world that we live in. This is also a testament to how keeping faith and not giving in to the despair can bring a better life to those that are suffering.
